Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and related field experience.
• Strong knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Proficient use of electrical, hand, power, layout and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, locations, quantities and material sizes.
• Identify tools required and measure, mark and cut materials to spec.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding for buildings and install ladders, rails, walkways, platforms and gangways.
• Construct, reinforce and dismantle pre-built scaffolds.
• Build wooden scaffolds and auxiliary items.
• Rig loads and perform related rigging tasks.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, time, costs and required resources.
• Inspect work for compliance and address deficiencies per plans.
