Job summary

Home Chef in Bedford Park, IL, is seeking a RTH Sanitation Associate for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with Sundays and Saturdays off. You will maintain a clean, food-safe environment in kitchen and assembly areas, wearing PPE and following health and safety regulations.

The role covers detailed sanitation tasks across RTH cleaning, dish room, and GMP frock room, enforcing SQF standards and collaborating with production to support a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English preferred
• 2+ years of experience in the food industry
• General high school degree, or equivalent (e.g. GED)

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and food safety in kitchen and assembly areas
• Follow PPE and health & safety regulations at all times
• Perform daily sanitation tasks including trash removal, floor care, and sink/bench cleaning
• Test sanitizers and maintain GMPs as part of SQF program
• Support removal of ice buildup and leaks and ensure equipment is cleaned per SOPs
