Barnes Aerospace, Ogden Division is seeking a Sandblaster to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, team oriented, and maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Shift is 10:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Wednesday with every other Thursday off. Responsibilities include operating sandblasting equipment, loading parts, and ensuring safety and compliance in a controlled space.

Qualificações

• Ability to understand and follow company and customer specifications.
• Ability to regulate controls associated with all equipment utilized.
• Ability to operate Sandblaster, insulated head gear, shovel, placement racks.
• Ability to be in enclosed spaces and wear head gear for long periods of time.
• Ability to wear a respirator for prolonged periods of time.

Responsabilidades

• Manually abrades surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove scale, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, using sandblasting equipment.
• Shovels or pours sand into machine and recycles sand after use to keep area safe and clean.
• Load parts on racks in enclosed rooms and regulate abrasive mixture flow for proper finish.
• Visually inspects parts to ensure specifications are met.
• Keep area safe and clean to pass safety regulations.
• Learn and adhere to required safety standards and procedures.
