Pillar Innovations, LLC in Grantsville, MD, is seeking a Sandblaster for the 2nd shift to prepare equipment and components for high-quality finishing. You will sandblast, read work orders, and follow QA standards while using hand and power tools and sandblasting equipment.

The role is physically demanding, with Monday-Thursday 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, a $2/hour shift differential, and a paid 30-minute lunch break.

Qualifications

• Experience with sandblasting and prepping surfaces for finishing.
• Ability to read work orders and QA specifications.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Adherence to safety, PPE, and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read, understand, and execute work orders and QA standards.
• Sandblast assemblies per industry standards and specs.
• Assist in erecting structures for projects and ensure safe access.
• Monitor operations and verify parts meet tolerance requirements.
