Job summary

Manhattan Construction is seeking a Safety Manager 2 (NIGHTS) to enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on our construction projects. This role leads safety practices, identifies hazards, and implements control measures to protect workers and property.

You will mentor junior safety staff, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. The position requires a 4-year degree, certifications, and extensive field experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional STS(C) and/or CHST or equivalent.
• At least 12 years of industry experience.
• First aid and CPR certified instructor.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on projects.
• Lead Safety Manager 1 and mentor junior staff.
• Conduct weekly project safety training meetings.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes.
• Maintain safety files and regulatory compliance."
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to promote safety.
