Job summary

Structure Tone, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Night Site Safety Manager in New York City, NY. The role focuses on implementing safety policies, leading safety teams, and training personnel to uphold high safety standards.

The candidate will monitor safety performance, inspect sites for hazards, and coordinate reporting to regulatory bodies. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or related field and 10–20 years of construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10–20 years of general construction experience.
• OSHA 30 hour training required.

Responsibilities

• Implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Monitor effectiveness of the safety management system and progress against standards.
• Lead and provide functional management for safety personnel.
• Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees in worksite safety and fire prevention.
• Inspects facilities to detect hazards and implements corrective measures.
• Ensure processes for alerting about significant accidents and incidents.
