Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Safety Manager 2 (NIGHTS) to enforce our safety, health, and environmental policies on construction projects. You will oversee safety practices, mentor Safety Manager 1s, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and incident prevention.

You will administer safety programs such as CCIP/OCIP, coordinate OSHA and insurer visits, lead incident investigations, and ensure compliance with 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 standards.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor's degree or relevant safety experience.
• STS(C) and/or CHST certification or equivalent.
• 12 years of industry experience.
• First aid & CPR certified instructor.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and development to Safety Manager 1.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety across the department and organization.
• Administer a job site CCIP, OCIP, or other Insurance program.
• Coordinate with OSHA and Insurance provider site visits.
• Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses and develop corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 OSHA standards.
• Develop and conduct safety training for projects.
