Job summary

Mercy South in Missouri is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift, rotating through the NICU to provide direct patient care per physician orders and to collaborate with the care team. The role requires flexibility and stamina in a high-acuity setting.

Candidates must graduate COARC-approved programs, hold a current RCP license and NBRC RRT; PALS for ER is required, ACLS preferred. Mercy offers competitive benefits and a $20,000 sign-on bonus for RRTs.

Qualifications

• Education: COARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Certifications: NBRC RRT; PALS for ER.
• ACLS preferred licensure.
• Preferred experience: critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and collaborate with nursing staff.
• Serve as advanced resource for respiratory care in the NICU rotation.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervision.
