Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Dover, New Jersey, is seeking a Production Worker (Rough Sandblaster) for the Midnight shift (10PM-6AM) with training on the Day shift (6AM-2PM). Hourly starting at $23.58 with a raise after 12 months to $26.33, plus shift premium for off-shift work, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include finishing castings using sandblasting equipment, maintaining production counts, and ensuring a safe, efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate blast equipment and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblast, spin blast and water hone equipment to finish castings and smooth surfaces.
• Maintain accurate production counts and records as required.
• Keep work area clean, orderly and safe at all times.
• Follow all safety rules and work in a safe manner.
• Verify calibration stickers and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Confirm routers are correct before processing castings.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
