Job summary

Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) in Bemidji is seeking an experienced RN for the Veterans Home-Bemidji. The role involves delivering resident-centered care, assessments, planning and evaluation within the RN scope, including night shifts and weekend work as assigned.

The position offers part-time hours, a competitive hourly wage of $40.59–$60.06 plus a $2.75 shift differential for evenings and nights, and full employer health and dental insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required.
• Effective communication to instruct and teach residents.
• Computer skills, specifically with electronic charting in PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act.
• Provide assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation to meet residents’ physical and psychosocial needs.
