Job summary

Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs in Bemidji is seeking an LPN to provide person-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will administer medications and treatments as ordered, under RN direction, with emphasis on accuracy and compassionate care.

This part-time position offers an evening shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, a competitive hourly rate plus a $2.25 shift differential for evenings and nights, and eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse with no restrictions and in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Computer skills sufficient for electronic charting (PointClickCare).
• Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and maintain clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a practitioner under RN supervision.
• Follow Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and applicable regulations.
• Work evening shift and ensure timely, accurate charting and care.
