Job summary

The Minnesota Veterans Home in Silver Bay is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our care team. You will provide resident care, assess needs, and support daily routines on rotating evening and night shifts (3:00pm-11:30pm and 11:00pm-7:30am).

Responsibilities include charting, following orders, and communicating with the supervisor to ensure consistent, high-quality nursing care. Minnesota DHS benefits apply; paid time off and health coverage may be included.

Qualifications

• Minnesota RN license in good standing; license required by date of hire if not current.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Effective written and verbal communication with residents and team.
• Computer charting proficiency, especially PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and assess their needs.
• Document care plans and maintain accurate resident charts.
• Communicate health concerns to supervisor and coordinate unit activities.
• Follow health and safety rules to ensure resident well-being.
