Job summary

AdventHealth seeks an RN for Night-Weekend shifts in Sebring, Florida. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competency, ensuring safe handoffs, and supporting patient flow per hospital policy. Eligible candidates may receive sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Requirements include Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications, and EPIC charting experience preferred. Education includes an Associate’s of Nursing with a Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida (or eligible)
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain unit-specific clinical competency and regulatory compliance
• Ensure safe handoff communications and documentation between caregivers
• Participate in peer interviewing and peer review processes
• Communicate courteously with internal and external customers
• Support patient flow and timely admission, discharge and transfer
• Perform initial patient assessments and identify teaching and discharge needs
