Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for 5 North Medicine, a 34-bed unit caring for medical inpatient populations with telemetry capability. You will join an interdisciplinary team delivering patient-centered care and contribute to ongoing learning while supporting diverse patient needs.

The role requires Michigan RN licensure, BLS, ACLS for select departments, and BSN preferred. Night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with every other weekend/holiday; benefits start day one and

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing eligible to sit for the NCLEX to become licensed as an RN.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care.
• Uses teach back methodology to educate patient and family.
• Communicates patient status, priority goals and interventions during rounds and handoffs.
• Follows all HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Behaves in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of St. Joseph Mercy Hospitals.
