Trinity Health Livonia Hospital in Livonia, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for 12-hour night shifts, with a weekend rotation and holiday commitments. The role supports Cardiac Care patients in a 19-bed Progressive Care Unit, focusing on care coordination, patient teaching, and teamwork.

Requirements include RN licensure in Michigan, BLS, and a BSN is preferred or a plan to obtain within five years. Associate degree is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. BLS required.
• Previous medical surgical experience preferred.
• Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe.
• Coordinate and evaluate care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to other healthcare team members via nursing process.
• Utilize therapeutic use of self and the environment to deliver care.
• Provide patient education and ensure safe, compassionate nursing practice in a fast-paced unit.
