Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Short Stay Unit in Ann Arbor. The role covers post-surgical and post-procedural patients with 24–48 hour dispositions, plus telemetry monitoring responsibilities.

The unit emphasizes patient safety, timely care, and collaboration across teams, with a night shift and full-time status. BSN preferred; Michigan RN license with BLS and ACLS as specified.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing program enabling NCLEX eligibility.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification; ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency departments.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Develops, implements, and revises a plan of care.
• Educates patient and family using teach-back method.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and communicates status during rounds and handoffs.
• Assists with monitoring and care on Short Stay Unit and Telemetry Monitor Unit.
