Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay Unit and Telemetry Monitor Unit on the 12 Hour Night Shift. The role supports adult post-surgical and post-procedural patients with 24- to 48-hour dispositions.

You will gather and analyze patient data, develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure HIPAA compliance while collaborating with the care team. MS RN license, BLS; ACLS for certain units; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Must be eligible to sit NCLEX and obtain RN license in Michigan.
• BSN preferred or commit to BSN within 5 years.
• Current Michigan RN license and BLS; ACLS for specified departments.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care.
• Uses teach back methodology to educate patient and family.
• Actively seeks to prevent potential hospital acquired conditions.
• Effectively communicates patient status, priority goals and interventions during rounds and handoffs.
• Follows all HIPAA policies and procedures.
