Job summary
Resorts at Chester River Manor is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead the overnight nursing team and ensure safe, resident-centered care.
This full-time role covers 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends; you will supervise Licensed Nurses and Nursing Assistants, coordinate with physicians and families, and maintain strict regulatory compliance.
Maryland RN license required; CPR certification; minimum 2 years in Long-Term Care; EMR experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Current Maryland RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred.
- Current CPR Certification.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Licensed Nurses and Nursing Assistants during the overnight shift.
- Ensure quality resident care in accordance with orders and nursing standards.
- Assess residents and respond to changes in condition.
- Monitor medication administration and documentation for accuracy.
- Investigate incidents and resident concerns.
- Ensure compliance with CMS regulations and Maryland nursing practice standards.
- Provide coaching and guidance to nursing staff.
- Complete audits and shift reports.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the nursing leader during assigned shift.
