Job summary

Silver Hill Hospital is seeking an RN Supervisor, Lead to manage shift activities and ensure adherence to hospital and nursing department standards. The role involves directing the delivery of care, coordinating with nursing supervisors, and evaluating performance to maintain quality outcomes.

Based in New Canaan, CT, the position requires an associate degree (BSN preferred) and CT RN licensure, with CPR/BLS after hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Licensed in the state of Connecticut as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• CPR/BLS certification after hire.

Responsibilities

• Identifies unsafe situations and responds appropriately.
• Evaluates patient outcomes with staff and institutes corrective action.
• Participates in work groups and ad hoc committees to evaluate unit policies and quality of care.
• Assumes Charge Nurse functions on the clinical unit when needed.
• Understands emergency procedures, fire drills and evacuation procedures.
