Healthcare Nursing Center in Connecticut is seeking an RN Supervisor Night Shift to lead a dedicated night team and ensure compassionate, high-quality resident care. You will supervise licensed staff, administer medications, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, train new staff, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to uphold our standards.

This role requires strong leadership and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Current CT RN license.
Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience with supervisory responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of licensed nurses and caregivers during the night shift.
Ensure that our residents receive high-quality care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
Manage and prioritize tasks to maintain a smooth and efficient operation of the nursing department.
Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Provide guidance, training, and support to new staff members.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.
