Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking an RN House Supervisor for the Rincon area. This full-time position directs hospital‑wide patient care during the 3 - Night Shift, representing hospital administration on assigned duties.

You will coordinate staffing, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with policies while guiding a team of nurses. The role requires an Associate's degree in nursing, 4 years of nursing experience (supervisory preferred), and active RN licensure in Arizona with BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Four (4) years of nursing experience, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
• Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Knowledge of nursing practice, patient care procedures and policies.
• Ability to supervise, train and evaluate staff to ensure effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs hospital-wide patient care activities during assigned shift.
• Represents hospital administration in delegated shift responsibilities.
• Prepares work schedules and assigns staff; participates in staff selection and training.
• Monitors expenses and assists in budget preparation; communicates variances.
• Implements department policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Inspects areas for policy compliance and takes corrective action when needed.
• Provides nursing personnel to departments as census varies; responds to patients and staff concerns.
