Job summary
Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight in a senior-care community serving skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, and assisted living residents. The role emphasizes strong supervision of nursing staff and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of nursing supervisory experience in an SNF setting, active NC RN licensure, CPR/ACLS, and proven ability to manage complex geriatric patient
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license is required.
- 5+ years of nursing supervisory experience (e.g., Charge Nurse, Unit Manager).
- Previous Skilled Nursing Facility experience required.
- Active CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
- Oversee medication administration, medication cart audits, and medication dispensing processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using computerized charting systems (Matrix or PCC).
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition promptly.
- Support infection control, wound care, fall/event reporting, and state survey readiness.
