Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Main Comp Medical Stepdown unit on nights. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include care coordination, patient education, and safety-focused nursing actions, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and professional growth within a culturally diverse setting.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed to practice nursing in Ohio.
• BSN within 5 years if hired after Jan 2010.
• AD or Diploma education acceptable for hire;
• BLS is required; ACLS within 6 months in step-down/ICU areas.
• MSN or DNP not required but may supersede traditional BSN requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Deliver ongoing, individualized patient and family education.
• Communicate plan of care using SBAR with team members.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and safety in all actions.
• Maintain documentation and professional growth through reviews.
