Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN licensure is required.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Certification in area of clinical specialty expected within five years.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments using the Nursing Process.
• Develop, coordinate, and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the patient and family.
• Communicate the plan of care using SBAR and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Provide ongoing, individualized education to patients and families.
• Respond to emergencies with prompt, precise actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Engage in leadership, professional development, and performance improvement activities.
