Job summary

The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for Main Labor and Delivery (Night shift, Full Time). The RN applies evidence-based nursing practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for mothers and newborns in a family-centered model.

You will lead the nursing process, perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate with physicians and the care team, educate families, and respond to emergencies with calm, precise action.

Qualifications

• RN must hold Ohio licensure and BLS; ACLS required within 6 months where applicable.
• Facility requires BSN within 5 years for new hires.
• Strong communication and collaboration with physicians and team.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop coordinated care plans.
• Communicate plans of care using SBAR with the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education about care and discharge.
• Respond to emergencies with decisive, precise actions.
• Maintain safety and infection control standards.
• Engage in meetings and professional development activities.
