On-call and occasional department float may be required. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of nursing experience, current RN license in the state, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions in line with state standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitor health data and health status.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients.

• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment when needed.
• Document in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Potentially float to other departments within competency scope.
