Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on the night shift (7p–7a) with call. The unit delivers about 200 patients monthly and operates 24/7 with in-house obstetric coverage.

You will provide and supervise total nursing care, using the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care. Current NC RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred; join a multidisciplinary team focused on family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; OB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise direct and indirect nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support family-centered care.
