Qualified candidates have an Iowa (or compact) RN license, BSN preferred, and BLS certification. Acute care experience is valued. This role emphasizes safety, documentation, and compassionate patient interactions.

Qualifications

• RN with current Iowa or compact state license.
• BSN preferred; evidence of ongoing professional development.
• BLS certification required for all staff.
• Previous RN experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients and families at hand-offs to ensure safety.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care per plan of care.
• Maintain real-time documentation for the healthcare team.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Promote a safe, patient-centered environment and teamwork.
