Job summary
Covenant Living Communities and Services is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide direct resident care and oversee LPNs and CNAs in our skilled nursing and memory care units. The role supports quality care through assessments, care planning, and physician communication, with adherence to state and federal regulations.
The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved school of nursing, holds a current RN license in the state, and has at least one year of nursing experience, plus strong
Qualifications
- RN license in the state; nursing degree from an approved program.
- Minimum one year nursing experience.
- Strong communication and compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and CNAs on the unit.
- Assist in orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
- Assist in motivating LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
- Provide explanation of nursing procedures and assistance to staff to assure ongoing understanding and training.
- Communicate with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments and concerns.
- Observe and report changes in residents' health to physicians and families.
