Job summary

Good Samaritan Albert Lea, MN is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) for night shift (10:30pm–7:00am) at an 80-bed long-term care facility. The RN will apply the nursing process to provide individualized resident care and collaborate with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Must hold an RN license in Minnesota and meet competency requirements, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care across settings and ensure safe, reliable administration of care.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and uphold standards of nursing practice.
• Utilize age and population-specific standards in assigned setting.
