Job summary

Good Samaritan Park River is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized nursing care using assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care, ensuring high quality standards.

The part-time RN position is 24 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, requiring weekend rotation. You will coordinate care, educate residents, and may serve as charge nurse within scope of practice,

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care and resident assessment; education and nursing interventions.
• Possibly serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks within competence and scope of practice.
