Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Holstein, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care to residents by applying the nursing process from assessment through evaluation.

You will collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary teammates, coordinate care across shifts, and act as charge nurse as needed while upholding the Nurse Practice Act and professional standards in a Christian not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Comply with the Nurse Practice Act and facility standards.
