Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care to residents, using the nursing process across all care phases. You will collaborate with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care plans.

This role may involve charge nurse duties and delegating tasks to staff as appropriate. Applicants should have a current RN license and a BSN preferred; comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment are offered,

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, educate residents and oversee nursing interventions.
