Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Indianola, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team.

The RN will care for residents across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment, coordinating care, resident education and delegating tasks as needed. This role may serve as charge nurse and requires compassion and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan and implement care.
• May serve as charge nurse and supervise delegated staff as needed.
