Job summary

Good Samaritan in Canton, SD is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care to ensure quality outcomes and adherence to clinical standards.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Current, unencumbered license required; multistate licensure may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs; multistate licensure may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education, and various nursing interventions.
