Job summary

Sanford Health in the United States is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. You will coordinate care, assess residents, educate families, and collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.

The RN roles may include serving as charge nurse, delegating tasks, and practicing within state Nurse Practice Act and licensure rules. A nationally accredited nursing program and RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license.
• Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Mentor or delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Operate within the Nurse Practice Act and licensure rules in the state of practice.
