Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized care using the nursing process. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care while coordinating with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams.

The role may include charge nurse duties and delegation to licensed and unlicensed staff. The position requires graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program, preferably with a BSN, and an unencumbered RN license in the practice state.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborates with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Provides supervision and support to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care concerns.
