University Behavioral Health of El Paso, LLC is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing staff in a psychiatric hospital setting. Under the Chief Nursing Officer, you will assure quality care and coordinate clinical activities, developing staff and meeting Standards of Performance.

Education includes a nursing degree with strong preference for BSN; 2–4 years psychiatric nursing and supervisory experience are required. Current TX RN license, CPR, and de-escalation training are needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of psychiatric nursing experience; Charge Nurse/ Supervisor experience required.
• Current Texas RN license; CPR certification; Handle With Care training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and coordination of nursing staff.
• Ensure quality nursing care using the nursing process.
• Develop, coordinate and implement clinical activities and staff development.
