Job summary

Universal Health Services, El Paso Behavioral Health System, is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead our nursing team on the night shift. Under the Chief Nursing Officer, you will ensure high-quality psychiatric care, coordinate nursing activities, and support staff development in accordance with hospital policies and the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include managing staffing, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years in psychiatric nursing; prior charge nurse/supervisor experience.
• Current Texas State Board of Nursing licensure.
• Medication administration exam required; CPR certification on hire; Handle With Care training.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and coordinate nursing personnel.
• Ensure quality nursing care per the nursing process and Texas Nurse Practice Act.
• Meet unit goals, standards of performance, and coordinate clinical activities.
• Develop staff and implement training and development programs.
