Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit in West Chester, PA, on a 13-week contract. The 12-hour night shift runs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with every third weekend and holiday coverage based on unit staffing needs.

The PCU is an 18-bed high-acuity unit offering monitoring and interventions beyond telemetry, with a typical 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio. Applicants should have a BSN, PA or Compact RN license, BLS/CPR and ACLS, and at least 2 years in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit or high-acuity environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage high-acuity patients in a busy PCU
• Maintains a 1:3 nurse-to-patient assignment
• Adapt to frequent admissions, transfers, and downgrades
