Job summary

WellSpan Ephrata’s Progressive Care Unit seeks a professional nurse to provide direct patient care on a 9-bed unit with complex medical and surgical needs. You will act as primary nurse for assigned patients, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and document outcomes in the EMR.

The role is PRN/Per Diem with a part-time, night shift schedule. Qualifications include RN licensure, preferred BSN, and current BLS; prior PCU or IMCU experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associates degree required; BSN preferred.
• Progress Care IMCU or relevant nursing experience required.
• Current RN license; multi-state license may be required and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct care in accordance with nursing process and hospital standards.
• Safely and independently administers prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions.
• Organizes and prioritizes time based on patient condition and workload; communicates patient needs during shifts.
