Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg overflow at Evanston Hospital. This full-time role (36 hr/wk) features 7:00 pm–7:30 am shifts, with rotating weekends and no required travel.

You will apply nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care across patient populations, while ensuring regulatory compliance. Supervisory duties include directing unlicensed staff and promoting high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred.
• Current IL nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
