The role emphasizes delivering high-quality patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and comprehensive patient education within a support-focused team. Ideal candidates are RVN graduates with BLS certification, strong nursing assessments, and a commitment to Mercy’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or Compact RN License.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); may be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all age groups.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards.
