Job summary

Mercy South is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for Labor & Delivery on the night shift. This full-time role offers strong incentives, day-one benefits, and opportunities for growth within a collaborative hospital setting in Missouri.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or Compact RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; may be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all age groups.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards.
Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive healthcare outcomes.
