Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a part-time Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor & Delivery to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. This role emphasizes patient-centered nursing, collaboration with the healthcare team, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
Current RN license in the state of practice or Compact RN license.
BLS Certification required; may be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care to patients across all age groups.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards.
Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive healthcare outcomes.
