Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the postpartum night shift. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with 1900–0730 hours and weekend rotation. Travel to Highland Park Hospital is required, and float to ISCU/Antepartum or LDRP as needed.

Licensed in IL, BSN preferred, and BLS/CPR certification required. Two years postpartum or acute care experience strongly preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing licensure required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required from the American Heart Association.
• 2 years postpartum or acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Performs patient assessment and collection of health data.
• Communicates plan of care with patient and family and with the care team.
• Delivers patient teaching tailored to learning needs.
• Supports professional development of peers and team members.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations.
• Assists in transporting acutely ill patients.
