Job summary

Advocate Health’s Pediatric and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health unit in Charlotte is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive care for youth aged 5–17 on a secure, acute psychiatric unit. The role is part-time nights (7pm–7am), 24 hours per week, with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Experience in an inpatient psychiatric or crisis setting preferred.
• Experience in behavioral Health and Ped/Adolescents

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
