Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Part-time RN for the Pediatric and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health unit in Charlotte. This role supports 24/7 stabilization and treatment for patients aged 5–17 with safety concerns requiring higher level care.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds an RN license in the state, and has at least 1 year of nursing experience, with inpatient psychiatric or crisis setting preferred. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Experience in inpatient psychiatric or crisis setting preferred.
Experience in behavioral health and Ped/Adolescents.
BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

As a skilled RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for adolescents and families.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care across the continuum.
Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to support patient outcomes.
