Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PCU, PRN, night shifts. The nurse will provide safe, patient-centered care in a high-quality acute-care setting with opportunities for professional development and leadership within the team.

Required are an accredited RN program, 2 years acute care experience, BLS, and Florida license with ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as specified. Lakewood Ranch offers competitive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• RN with graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, with Med/Surg/Tele and ICU or PCU capability.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Florida or Compact Nursing License active at hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and patient-centered framework.
• Demonstrate leadership and support to the healthcare team.
