Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join as a Float, PRN and night shift position. The role requires a Florida or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS or unit-specific certifications, and at least 2 years of acute care experience across Med/Surg, Tele, ICU or PCU.

The RN will provide safe, competent nursing care, lead clinical care teams, and ensure patient-centered service excellence while adhering to hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting (Med/Surg/Tele and ICU or PCU).
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) at hire.
• Current Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• ACLS as of start date for most units; NRP for Women’s Center; NIH for ICU/PCU; PALS/CPI for ER; PALS for PACU within 90 days.
